What this chapter covers

This chapter covers vegetable textile fibres such as flax, true hemp, jute, ramie, coconut and abaca, the yarns spun from them and the fabrics woven from those yarns; paper yarn and woven fabrics of paper yarn belong here as well. The headings follow the stage of processing: first the fibres raw or processed but not spun, together with their tow and waste, then the yarns, and finally the woven fabrics.
