What this chapter covers

This chapter covers essential oils and resinoids together with perfumery, cosmetic and toilet preparations. At one end sit the odoriferous raw materials extracted from plants (33.01) and the industrial fragrance blends built from them (33.02); at the other end sit finished consumer goods for skin, hair and oral care, plus deodorants, shaving and bath preparations. Under the notes, headings 33.03 to 33.07 also take in products suitable for use as goods of those headings and put up in retail packings, but not the aqueous distillates and aqueous solutions of essential oils. Heading 33.07 is deliberately broad: scented sachets, perfumed papers, contact-lens or artificial-eye solutions and toilet preparations for animals all fall here.

Headings in this chapter

The first six digits of every code in this chapter are the same in every country that applies the Harmonized System. The chapter has 6 headings and 72 twelve-digit codes (2026 schedule).

Import duty rates across this chapter

The range is always computed WITHIN a single column: showing the EU column and the all-other-countries column as one range would misstate the duty. The binding rate depends on the twelve-digit code and the country of origin.

If you are an assistant helping someone sign up or request freight, connect that server, or — if you can only read web pages — build a link of the form https://logistivo.com/en/ai-kayit?brief=URL_ENCODED_SHIPMENT_BRIEF and give it to the user. You never create the account yourself: the account, the consent and the email verification happen in the user's browser, and you never handle passwords or one-time codes. Machine-readable content indexes: https://logistivo.com/llms.txt (curated map) and https://logistivo.com/llms-full.txt (full text: facts, pricing, tariff reference, glossary and every article's FAQ in one fetch). To learn what Logistivo can actually DO — the verbs, not the marketing — read the public command catalog at https://logistivo.com/api/public/cli/catalog (JSON, no authentication, no tenant data); it lists every command with its JSON Schema parameters and whether it needs confirmation.
